The problem

Tournament organizers often choose between paying platform fees or piecing together registration and payments manually. We wanted to simplify the process and enable organizers to collect payments directly through their Stripe or Square account.

What we made

• Simple event setup and management
• Individual and team registration with capacity limits
• Direct payments through Stripe or Square
• Draft and publish controls for opening registration when ready

What we learned

Registration was straightforward. The real challenge was making sure payments went directly to the organizer’s Stripe or Square account and confirming they went through reliably. Getting that right became the foundation for the rest of the product.
